With Doug will be GSAR’s current president is Mr. Richard Torch, a member since 2002.  Richard was President from 2007-2009 and has been the President since 2011.  He drives a 1936 Nash Ambassador street rod and has been from Florida to New Brunswick, Canada and all points in between.

About the Georgia Street Rod Association:  The GSRA is one of the oldest street rod, specialty ride and custom car associations in the USA. It was formed in 1976 by members of a number of car clubs to address legislative, insurance and safety issues facing the automotive hobby.

The GSRA continues to promote the car hobby in general and is open to all walks of life.  All you need is a healthy interest in automobiles.  You don’t have to own a car.  Family members are welcome at all our events and many of them volunteer their time to help with the charity car shows, swap meet, picnic and other GSRA activities alongside GSRA member volunteers.

GSRA members have all sorts of automobiles – stocks, street rods, specialty rides, trucks, motorcycles, and custom cars. All years, makes and models are welcome.  We have monthly meetings and events.

In addition, we ask any EAA member with an airplane they would like to display to park them on the ramp intermixed with the GSRA cars for those in attendance to see.  If you plan to participate with your aircraft please let Randy (president@eaa690.net) or Kathi (kp9611@aol.com) know so that we can make sure adequate space is allocated.
